Project Brief

Through the use of generative A.I. softwares, I creatively explored and brought Avalon to life. By blending fantasy and research, I developed a a single landing page for Avalon and various assets relating to the island that embody its rich mythology. I used numerous Chat GPT prompts, such as "What historical events influenced the creation of Avalon?" and "Can you describe the geography of Avalon?”.

Logo Design

The Avalon logo is a timeless and versatile emblem that embodies the mythical energy and enchantment of the legendary island. The logo serves as a standalone icon, symbolizing Avalon’s mystique and historical depth, while the wordmark complements it by grounding the brand in elegant, legible typography.

Flag Design

Through research and creative exploration, I selected green to symbolize nature, sustainability, and balance; gold conveys antiquity and permanence. The eight-pointed star with a white center honors the Nine Sisters, legendary guardians of Avalon associated with magic, healing, and spiritual wisdom. The flag's triangular cutout reflects medieval tapestry motifs.

I struggled learning how to effectively prompt Adobe Firefly to generate images I desired, which required patience and frequent rewording to achieve results close to my vision. I often needed to further refine and manipulate the images manually to align them more closely with my vision.
