Project Brief

Create a visual identity system for a future Olympics Games. Research the host city and create deliverables for a complete brand identity.

Flurry, boundless, and pristine are three words that guided my design process. Sapporo means ‘important river flowing through a plain’ which inspired this emblem to represent the endless versatility of the land, the dynamic reputation of the city, and the tracks in the snow and ice from the athletes competing.

Poster Design

In creating this design, I grappled with balancing abstract elements with professionalism and clarity. The Olympic Games have an incredibly prestigious brand identity and reputation to uphold, but I intended to push the boundaries of this brand identity to create a dynamic and engaging promotional poster that reaches harmony between imaginative appeal and practical communication.
